Scholarships

As part of its heritage of mutal aid to the Welsh-American community The Welsh Society awards an annual scholarship.

The Welsh Society Scholarship is awarded based on the following criteria:

    1. Academic Merit
    2. Documentable Welsh descent
    3. Studying at the Undergraduate level
    4. Residence, or Attenence of an accredited institution, within 100 miles/150Km of Philadelphia; study in Wales permitted for students who's primary residence is within 100 miles/150km of Philadelphia.

    Participation and activity within the Welsh-American community may be a deciding factor when choosing between otherwise equally qualified candidates.
